As the sun and fog were slowly rising this morning, the bite was on! Dead drifting and swinging streamers in the darkness was productive until the sun crept over the ridge. These last couple days have been warming up and the fishing is reflecting the temps. Some big browns were active and feeding this morning. Once the sun was up and fog was cleared, dry flies and nymphs were being taken consistently. Risers were picky, but once the fly choice was dialed in to a small emerging pattern, it was on! Nymphs fished well on a dropper as well as on the tight line rig. Nymph patterns of the day were pheasant tail variations and eggs.
