The summer bite has been fantastic for us on both the Watauga and South Holston. Along with learning a lot and having a great adventure, clients have been boating quality WILD fish. The dry fly fishing has been fantastic. The Sulphurs should be winding down on the Watauga as July approaches, but we are seeing some large bwo hatches. PMD's, a few caddis and a ton of midges are in the mix. Both rivers have been fishing well on high and low water if you know where and when to go, and what to throw. Morning and evening bites have been the best, although it is possible to move fish all day long! Give us a call to get on the water anytime in July or August! These float trips are a ton of fun! The scenery, snacks, and ice cold drinks are the icing on the cake!
If you want to reserve trips for the FALL in NC, TN, or GA private water now is the time to do it!
That's all for now,
BEAST
